Rivers of Life
Many cultures think rivers are holy. They are a number one source of fresh water. We use them to farm, drink, and fish. But we block them, divert them, overexploit them and pollute them. They are a rich home of biodiversity but they are losing species quickly.

We need healthy rivers for life on Earth to be healthy. But often the way we treat rivers shows we don’t really understand that. What is going wrong with our rivers and why?
