Because we have used the natural world so badly, we are taking away so much of its variety and damaging ourselves at the same time. This edition's big story is about some of the concerns of people who live closest to nature. What can we do to stop the terrible loss of biodiversity? In the words of author Lucy Jones, we can no longer see nature as 'a luxury.'
